How to change to a yearly subscription

The main benefit of a yearly PRO subscription is the lower price per month. By switching from a monthly to a yearly subscription, you can save up to 40%.

However, all subscriptions are managed entirely by Figma, and unfortunately there isn’t a simple way to switch from monthly to yearly, as of today. In order to change to to a yearly subscription, you will first need to cancel your monthly one. Here are the steps:

1. Go to account settings

To cancel your subscription, first go to your account settings in Figma. Click on your profile tab in the top-left corner of Figma, then click Settings in the drop-down menu.

2. Find your Community purchases

Click on the Community tab and scroll to find under Community purchases. Open the drop-down menu to the right and select Manage subscription. This will redirect you to a new browser window to continue the process.

3. Select “Cancel plan”

In this new browser window, you’ll see the details of the plan you’re subscribed to. Click the button labeled Cancel plan.

4. Confirm the cancellation

On the next screen, you’ll be asked to confirm the cancellation.

5. Resubscribe to the yearly option

Now, if you cancelled at the end of your monthly billing cycle, you should see you are no longer PRO when launching the plugin, and will have the option to upgrade. Select the yearly option when resubscribing to save up to 40%.
